2010-11 continues to provide challenges to the long term care rehab manager. With implementation of the MDS 3.0, changes in the common practice of providing “concurrent” therapy along with the impact of Health Care Reform and state budgetary pressures, we must constantly adapt how we manage our rehab caseloads. This three-hour conference will provide the information you need to ensure the capture of reimbursement opportunities under these changes.

Long Term Care Rehab Directors, Department Chiefs, and Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Language Pathologist Supervisors

  • Describe changes in long term care rehab management secondary to health care reform
  • Understand how the MDS 3.0 will impact rehab management decisions
  • Construct new strategies to manage rehab departments’ in order to capture reimbursement opportunities
  • Develop service delivery strategies to accommodate changes in concurrent therapy
