SUBACUTE AND LONG TERM CARE COUNCIL MEETING
As the provision of therapy intervention in long term care relies heavily on the use of occupational and physical therapy assistants, it is imperative that we understand their practice acts, and what is legal and allowable in our settings. This presentation will cover the updated rules for occupational therapy assistants, COTA students and holders of limited permits (released February 2012) as well as a review of current rules for physical therapy assistants.
