Therapeutic Resources was one of many vendors attending the Advance Job Fair at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in NYC. We had a booth along with many other hospitals, nursing homes and schools. We were all trying to lure the attending occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech therapists towards our little plot. We had a barrage of therapists looking for staff jobs as well as per diem and vacation coverage positions. This venue is a great way to meet, interview and match therapists to jobs. - however........it seems that the job fair concept may become extinct! Advance has now created a virtual job fair where vendors (such as ourselves) create their own online booth, meet and greet visitors through emails and live chat for the duration of the job fair! Sounds exciting, so we will try our luck at the next one!
