EXPERIENCED Early Intervention Service Coordinator Needed Immediately

We are seeking an experienced person to join our top-notch team of Early Intervention Service Coordinators. Our EI SC's provide early intervention services to children with special needs 0-3 years old. All services coordinators have desk space, an internet connection, a direct phone line and access to necessary office equipment. Our office environment is professional but relaxed, and is located in Astoria.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Early Intervention service coordination experience is a must (at least 2 years).

- Bachelor degree in related field (education, social work, child development, etc.) is required.

- Must be able to work in Queens, and must have a valid drivers license and a car. 

- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required.

- Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

- Advocate for children and families to ensure they receive the services for which they are eligible under the Early Intervention Program.

- Conduct home visits and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings with other agencies to collaborate on service planning.

- Develop expertise on resources for young children and families by learning about the EIP and other Early Childhood and Social Service Programs.
