A wonderful group of OTs, PTs, SLPs, Special Educators, and para-professionals were with Therapeutic Resources on April 21, 2013 as we launched a new technology seminar: 'App, App and Away!!! Using the Latest Technologies to Enhance the Everyday Treatment of Children'.
A day of low-cost to no-cost apps were presented by Dr. Panos Rekoutis, Ph.D, OTR/L and Dr. Katherine Dimitropoulou, Ph.D, OTR/L at the LaGuardia Plaza Hotel Conference Center in Queens. Therapists learned that their everyday practice can be enhanced through the provision of apps that provide motivating stimuli for the delicate populations they treat.
