After so many years teaching and placing new grads, Marilyn and Lisa had a brainstorm this year - why not write a book outlining the steps to a successful career in OT. The working title is "Occupational Therapy Student to Clinician: Making the Transition". A proposal to Slack, a leading publisher of occupational and physical therapy textbooks quickly led to a contract for the book which is intended to be a hands on guide to help students achieve their therapy career goals. It will be published sometime in 2012.
In addition to the book deal, Lisa and Marilyn Iare proudly celebrating a major milestone this year as Therapeutic Resources turns 25. The company remains a leader in the field of rehabilitation and educational staffing in the New York Metropolitan area. There are many new ventures and surpises in store for this special anniversery year. Stay tuned for new develoopments.
