Lisa Davis Speaks at LaGuardia Community College's Pinning Ceremony

Last week Therapeutic Resource's own Lisa Davis was on hand to speak to the most recent group of Occupational Therapy Assistant graduates at New York's LaGuardia Community College.

19 graduates at the LaGuardia Community College Pinning Ceremony received their "completion" pins under the proud  eyes of the faculty as well as family and friends. Lisa -  an Adjunct Professor at LaGuardia -  attended the event and gave a congratulatory speech which outlined the  "three hats"  she wears - the first in her role as a teacher watching her students struggle through school, endure papers and exams,  finally coming through to graduation day; the second as a colleague of the new graduates welcoming them into the profession, recounting how good it feels to help rebuild the lives of others; and the third as the owner of Therapeutic Resources - the staffing agency that is  ready to help them find the best jobs, fine-tune their resumes and arrange interviews.

Lisa finished her "three hat speech" by applauding the graduates and telling them to get out there and make her proud!
