July 16 was an eventful evening. Thirty-five occupational therapy assistants at LaGuardia Community College graduated and received a memento pin that signified their struggle and effort throughout the two year program.

The evening began with the proud energy palpable as each graduate was called up to the podium to collect their pin and graduation certificate.

The Faculty then gave powerful inspirational speeches, including Therapeutic Resources' Lisa Davis' who focused on the importance of continuing their professional education through participation in seminars, in-services, membership in Occupational Therapy organizations and maintaining contact with each other. She stressed that graduation is just the beginning - now it's up to them to seek out their interests and grow as professionals!

A sumptuous buffet meal was sponsored by Therapeutic Resources. We wish all of the graduates good luck and great success in their professional career. (And of course we are hoping that they will turn to TR to help find them a job.)
