With much apprehension and trepidation we signed up to participate in the Advance Virtual Job Fair on September 16. We were surprised by how well it went. Last week, in preparation we were taught how to create our virtual booth, including the uploading of flyers and preparing giveaway items for booth visitors!
On the day of the event, all of our recruiters logged on, and for seven hours therapists visited our booth, asked questions, emailed their resumes and applied for open therapy positions. While the virtual job fair may actually catch on, we still plan on attending the 'in the flesh' job fair on Wednesday, September 23 in Westchester. We'll have to wait and see if the 'in-person' job fair will eventually become obsolete.
