Long Island University's Occupational Therapy Department Celebrates it's 10th Anniversary
Long Island University's Occupational Therapy program celebrated their 10th anniversary last night! It was a great evening with Katherine Dimotropoulos, the new Director of the LIU OT Program initiating the festivities with an inspirational speech.
Current faculty, past and current students and friends attended the events. Anne Scott, the first director of the program was honored for having the dream to start the program 10 years ago. To celebrate the milestone she created a slide show demonstrating how she made her dream come true, It was quite entertaining!
In ten short years LIU has developed a reputation for producing well prepared, professional occupational therapists. Therapeutic Resources has been fortunate to have placed many of them. As a member of their adjunct faculty, I am proud to be affiliated with this highly respected institution.
Congratulations to the LIU OT program!
