SEIT Meeting at Therapeutic Resources

On September 15 Therapeutic Resources held an inservice for special educators engaged in their Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT)  program.  Working through the NYC Department of Education, the program delivers individual intervention to mandated preschool children. 

Our new clinical supervisor Crysta Kearney lead the group,reviewed new policies and  procedures, shared our new documentation forms and discussed paperwork requirement changes. Clinical issues such as behavioral challenges, toy choices, and methods of utilizing supervision were covered in the meeting. Based on feedback received from participants, it was unanimously agreed that the program was most beneficial.
