The First Year @ Bounce Gymnastics

While some people were focused on the New York City Marathon and Daylight Savings, at Therapeutic Resources we were enjoying the success of our new course "The First Year"  at Bounce Gymnastics in Great Neck, NY.
Our star instructor - Julianne Costa - captivated 50 Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists  and Speech Language Pathologists while presenting the nuances of development from birth through twelve months using live baby volunteers.


Eight babies crawling around the carpeted floor while therapists called out observations and honed their clinical observation skills. Babies ranged in age from 11 weeks  through 11 1/2 months.  After the two-hour observation and hands on lab intensive Julianne then provided the narrative for an atypically developing child, who was also on site.

The event was truly exceptional-and will be planned again for next year under a two day format instead of one. This seminar is one not to be missed!
